A system of QR coding and scanning has been put in place on our production lines which helps in monitoring deliveries, quality and efficiency.

Manufacturing mantra:

One of the unique features of our manufacturing process is the ‘Single Piece Flow System’ which not only ensures optimum productivity but also standardization in quality systems. The ‘Cut-Assemble-Sew-Check-Pack’ routine ensures that the lag time between completion of production and the ready-to-dispatch stage is almost zero, enabling us to achieve on-time deliveries at all times.

Sourcing Expertise:

Over the last 37 years, we have fine-tuned the process of sourcing raw materials. This helps us meet every demand of our discerning clients. Whether it is high quality vegetable tanned hides from Europe and South America from LWG certified tanneries or the best fabrics and metal hardware from Italy and Asia, we have it all covered. We also make sure our products conform to all the testing norms as required by our clients and also ensure that our vendors are socially compliant as per the requirement of our clients. This helps in quick turn around times to client requirements.

Lean Management:

At Viari, we have put in place the 5S and Lean organisation method.This method of Sorting, Simplifying, Systematic Cleaning, Standardising and Sustaining increases productivity and streamlines our manufacturing process.

Workforce with a focus on Women Empowerment:

Team Viari comprises of experienced and skilled employees across all product lines and manufacturing facilities. A unique feature of our team is that most of our work force, to the extent of almost 75%, are women. Providing employment especially to women and others from less privileged sections of society has been a prime focus and a CSR initiative at Viari over the years and the results have definitely been heartening.

System Audit & Compliance:

Many of our clients have their own audit processes and terms of engagement and assess our capabilities and systems individually.
Viari has also been audited and certified by SEDEX/SMETA, an internationally accepted certification which means our new clients can directly take our products into their supply chain without having to double check on our compliance standards and manufacturing processes.

Green Initiatives:

The expanded manufacturing facility will be a LEED-certified building, providing a healthier and more productive workspace while reducing environmental impact through energy and resource efficiency. This will translate into long-term benefits through increased building value and lower utility costs.We will soon generate enough solar power to run most of the premises from the abundantly available sunlight, representing another step towards a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.Our commitment to responsible resource management also extends to water conservation. Through our Eco STP (Sewage Treatment Plant),wastewater generated within the facility is treated and recycled for non-potable applications, reducing freshwater consumption and supporting sustainable operations. Even within our manufacturing processes, we have begun transitioning to water-based glues, edge-painting inks and dye solutions. Over time ,this will help eliminate the use of hazardous solvent-based products, creating a safer workplace and reducing environmental impact.
